We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2024, at the age of 80, Dewey Odel Ferguson (Frankfort, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Dewey Odel departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dewey Odel. Though Dewey Odel may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe B. Ferguson and Dora Ferguson (York). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ferguson of Frankfort; his children, Jennifer Bowman of Kirklin and Lawrence J. Ferguson of Kirklin; and his grandchildren, Katie Butcher, Shelby Coen (Reece), Andrew Ferguson and Lindsay Knox. He is also survived by 3 siblings, many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family.
