He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Eugene Romey and Thelma Paschal Romey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jo Batts Romey; his children, Curtis Michael Romey (Amanda) and Valerie Jean-Marie Romey; his grandchildren, Zain Mann, Asher Mann, Atticus Mann, Ivan Mann, Ethan Walters, Caleb Walters, Isaac Walters, Stella Walters and Anna Azeredo; his brother Byron (Norma); and his children, Alberto Azeredo, Gabriella Maia and Joselita Junia Viegas.
