He was predeceased by: his parents, John Banks and Irene Banks; and his siblings, Lucille Leslie, Ronald Banks and Richard Banks.
He is survived by: his children, Paula, Cassie, Herb, Belva, Sandy, Brian, Jimmy, Heather, Joey, Jay, Christina, Jayson, Penny, Judy, Jennie, John, Stevie, Andrea, Tammy (Gary, Sr.), Gary Lynn, Jr., April, Kevin and Wendy; and his brother Bob Banks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
