She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nowell and Ruth Nowell (Huguenard); and her husband Fred J. Castle. She is survived by: her sons, Fred (Cherri), Thomas and Jeff Castle; her grandchildren, Kristen Nuthals (Joe) and Lindsay Garrison (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Paige, Cora and Ella.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).

“FRED,Tom,Jeff ,sorry to hear of Mom's passing always so kind when banging on door asking to visit all you Guys. I SPOKE WITH HER recently at nurse home and gott some giggles from her. I TOLD her about climbing up to attic to smoke cherry flavor tobacco with Jeff thinking we never get caught. LOTTS OF FUNN TIMES, and many memory of Fred ,Tom ,and Jeff .
