With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Lee Murphy (Fort Wayne, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Franklin Murphy and Esther Murphy; and his friend Nancy Smith Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Murphy (Susan) and Jennifer Hobby (Robert); his grandchildren, Bradley, Abby, Seth Murphy, Hannah Waugh (Bailey), Lydia and Elizabeth Hobby; his brother Terry Murphy (Kathie); and his caregiver Mark Pagala.

In lieu of flowers or other material gifts, the family invites memorial gifts in his honor to be designated to the music department of Trinity English Lutheran or to the animal shelter, Humane Fort Wayne.
