Maxine R. Federspiel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine R. Federspiel of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maxine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Poisel and Edith Poisel; her husband Bert Federspiel; and her son Mike Federspiel. She is survived by: her daughter Denise Guingrich (Steve); and her daughter-in-law Sherri Federspiel (Mike). She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
