He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Yarnelle Sr. and Rita M. Lassus Yarnelle; his brother James P. Yarnelle Jr.; his sister-in-law Elizabeth J. Byron; his niece Ann Marie Yarnelle; and his pet Scooter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Yarnelle; his children, Kelly L. Yarnelle and Jeffrey M. Yarnelle (Marcial Betancourt); his granddaughter Baylee K. Craig; his brothers, William Yarnelle (Susan), Edward, Kenneth Yarnelle (Donna) and Larry Yarnelle (Darlene); and his sister-in-law Judy Yarnelle. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
