Cheryl Anne Holmes Obituary

Cheryl Anne Holmes, age 72, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Cheryl was born in Fort Wayne. She graduated from Bishop Luers High School and St Francis University. Cheryl pursued a career in nursing as a Registered Nurse. She retired in 2014 after working in a number hospitals and nursing homes in the Fort Wayne area. After retirement she worked a SIRVA. She was the mother of three children.

Cheryl loved reading, her favorite authors were, Anne Rice, Diana Gabaldon, Steve Berry and James Rolling. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, Murder. She Wrote, Bones and Hallmark movies. Besides her three kids one of her greatest loves was her cats Nemo and Tink. Her favorite song was "O Sherry" by Steve Perry. Her children all cherished the Sunday dinners of Pork roast with all the trimmings.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Dawn Holmes, Heather (Adam) Parra and Crystal Holmes. Grandchildren Jeanne Porges and Cassy Holmes and 2 great grandchildren. Siblings, James Tholen and Daniel Tholen.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Carolanne Tholen, Brothers: John Tholen, Sister: Christina Howard and her daughter Crystal Holmes.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
