It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jehl of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jehl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Agnes Starost; her husband Herbert C. Jehl; and her siblings, Dick Starost, Eileen Zurbuch, Jim Starost and Lois Baumgartner.
She is survived by: her children, William Jehl (Barbara) of Escondido, CA, Karin Key (William) of Frederick, MD, John Jehl (Vicki) of Rome City and Lorraine Forks (Ronald) of Warsaw; and her grandchildren, David Jehl (Tiffany) of Ft Wayne, Janne-Marie Geibel (William), Nick Jehl (Amy), Jessica Jehl (Josh Larimore) of Ft Wayne, Leah Key of Chicago, Brian Key (Lara), Jennifer Dailey (David) of Nappanee, Erik Forks (Julie) of Leesburg, Marie Bradley (Shane), Calbert Forks (Anna) of Nappanee, Annie McCoy (Mayson) of Tippecanoe and Grant Forks of Warsaw. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (4916 Trier Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815).
