It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ellen Davis in Fishers, Indiana, born in Patoka, Indiana, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Merrill Davis; her parents, Lester Gieseke and Elva Gieseke; her siblings, Alice Melton and Bill Gieseke; and her great grandchildren, Max Duncan and Annaleah Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Davis (Gloria) of Hindsville, AR, Brian Davis (Sue) of Fort Wayne, IN, Paul Davis (Patty) of Louisville, KY and Merrilyn Larkin (Mike) of Fishers, IN.; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Davis (Cathy), Elizabeth Duncan, TaeSeong, Joey, Meili and Sarah Davis (Joyce Barbour). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of her late husband, Merrill Davis, or to Traditions Hospice in Indianapolis, IN.
