He was predeceased by: his brother Michael. He is survived by: his father Robert Paul Metrick; his wife Jenn Metrick (Woythal); his children, AJ, Makenna and Nathan; his mother Judy Metrick (Greene); his sister Cathy Hobart; his sister-in-law Michelle Creary; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas, William, Nicholas, Ryan and Emily. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the IU Health Joe & Shelly Schwarz Cancer Center, 11645 Illinois St, Carmel, IN 46032.
