She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral Purvis and Opal Purvis; her husband Ralph Dewald; her son Richard O. DiLuciano; and her siblings, Jacqueline Harrison, James Gordon Purvis, Oral R. Purvis, Jr. and Donna Maxine Purvis.

She is survived by: her son David DiLuciano (Alma) of Bloomington, IN; and her nieces and nephews, Dennis Meehan (Linda Wigmore) of Wilmington, NC, Donna Whitton of Rutland, VT, Greg Purvis (Pat), Cathy Lakey of Conroe, TX, Connie Purvis of Kokomo, IN, Step and Denise Adamson of Kokomo, IN.
