She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Underdahl and Mildred Underdahl; her aunts, Verda Hueple and Betty Messer (Phillip); her uncle Robert Schmalenberger (Gloria); and her cousin Laurel Schatz.
She is survived by: her husband Howard; her siblings, Pat Peterson and John Underdahl of North Dakota; her sister-in-law Sharon Lutter of Fort Wayne; her aunts and uncles, Gladys Woroniecki (Florian) of North Dakota, Joyce Schatz (Harold) of Hawaii, Jacob Schmalenberger (Alice) of North Dakota and Allan Schmalenberger (Georgiann) of North Dakota; her cousins, Terisinia Hintz (Jerry) of North Dakota and Dyame Martin (Joanie) of North Carolina; and her stepson Kevin Bower (Amy) of South Carolina. She is also survived by two nieces, eight grandchildren and numerous cousins.
