He is survived by: his children, Pam Shoemaker (Randy) and Tim Smoots (Laura); his grandchildren, Kayla Van Hook (Ben), Spencer Shoemaker (Rebekah), Daniel Smoots and Ben Smoots; his great grandchild Millie Van Hook; and his sisters, Sally Davis and Linda Frick.
