She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Cordero and Stephanie "Fannie" Cordero (Gaud); her husband Dr. John Hippensteel; and her brother Frank Cordero. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Hippensteel of Indianapolis, IN, Carl Hippensteel, Cary Miller of Chicago, IL and Derk Hippensteel of Indianapolis, IN.; her sister Nelly Cordero; her nieces and nephews, Frankie Cordero, Jorge Cordero of Denver, CO, Sandra Cordero, Angela Del Murro and San Juan; and her cousin Luisa Mercedes.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Audubon Society, 225 Varick St., New York, NY 10014, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
