He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Davis and Medie Davis (Kaiser); his former wife Mildred Davis (Raleigh); his wife Betty Davis (Shepherd); his son Dennis Davis; his daughter-in-law Vicki Shepherd; his great grandchild Oak Shepherd; and his brothers, Paul Davis and Don Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Davis (Kristi), Randy Davis (Jama), Carl Shepherd and Jerry Shepherd (Marcia); his grandchildren, Mindy Hammond (Tony), Tricia Neu (David), Nick Davis, Tamara Miller (Jordan), Ian Davis (Jessica), Amanda Alexander (Michael), Jonathan Shepherd (Christine), Ryan Shepherd (Kristel), Stephen Shepherd (Tamara), Aaron Shepherd (Jathniel), Scott Shepherd, Mark Shepherd (Lauren) and Jordan Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Blake Hammond, Karli Hammond, Charley Hammond, Logan Neu, Jaxon Davis, Maddie Davis, Sloane Miller, Elizabeth Alexander, Emily Alexander, Joel Shepherd, Josiah Shepherd, Ansel Shepherd, Zion Shepherd, Oliver Shepherd, Samuel Shepherd, Virginia Shepherd, Davy Shepherd and Eliza Shepherd; and his siblings, Theodore Davis (Ruth) and Jean Mitchell.
