He is survived by: his mother Mary Lee Knies (Wendholt) of Ferdinand; his wife Beth Ficker; his children, Alex of Ferdinand, Conner Knies of Ferdinand and Madison Knies of Ferdinand; his siblings, Greg Knies (Tonya) of Huntingburg, Chris Knies (Sandy) of Ferdinand and Cheryl Shafer (Mathew) of Evansville; and his grandchildren, Zeak Knies and Karlie Knies.
