He is survived by: his wife Alene Gudorf; his children, Tim Kerstiens (Julie) of Huntingburg, Steven Kerstiens of Ferdinand, Vickie Rountree (Tony) of Jasper and Jeni Kerstiens of Indianapolis; his daughter-in-law Sheila Kerstiens of Ferdinand; and his siblings, Jerome Kerstiens (Doris) of Jasper, Rita Blessinger (Dave) of Jasper and Doris Langebrake (Jeff) of St. Meinrad. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
