With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis A. Werne of Ferdinand, Indiana, born in Saint Meinrad, Indiana, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Werne and Mathilda Werne (Becher); his wife Janet S. Oser; his daughters, Sharon Bockelman (Rick) of Huntingburg and Sue Thompson of Nineveh; his grandchildren, Emily Watson (Josh), Philip Bockelman (Morgan) and Amy Bockelman; his brother James Werne (Bonnie) of Washington; and his son-in-law Wayne Thompson.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a tree be planted or memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
