He was predeceased by: his parents, John Long and Jenny Greemore Long; and his daughter Carol Caton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Campbell Long; his children, Michael Long (Nancy), Brenda Gaudard (Jesse) and Troy Long (Janet); and his siblings, Larry Long, Joan Brown and Susan Tincher. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
