Emma Ruth Luker Obituary

The memory of Emma Ruth Luker (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Luker; her daughter Patricia Claybaugh; her siblings, Mary Louise and Daniel Pauli; and her parents, Hilda Pauli (Bernhardt) and David Pauli.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah (Bruce) of Evansville, Mark (Dianna) of Evansville and Michael (Michelle) of Tampa, FL.; her son-in-law Lloyd Claybaugh of Evansville; her grandchildren, Lisa Jackson (John), Lori Feil (Eric), Greg Balsdon (Adriana Brodsky), Jennifer Claybaugh, Brooke Benkert (Daniel), Katie Luker and Andrew Luker; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Chloe, Jacob Feil, Celeste, Elias Wilson, Ryder Benkert, Morgan, Sydney Jackson, David and Leah Zahniser. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Alexander North Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Church of Darmstadt (14134 Darmstadt Rd, Evansville, IN 47725).
