He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Schmidt (Mallory); his son Randy; his children-in-law, Martha Schmidt, Randy, Mary Nelson of Dyer, Ryan and Michelle Nelson of Lancaster; his granddaughter Leah Schmidt Van Hook; his stepgrandchildren, Robert, Laura, Susan, Katlin, Alecea and Alec Nelson; and his great-niece Jennifer Sue (Kevin Kolley).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
