Virginia (Ginnie) Carpenter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia (Ginnie) Carpenter of Elwood, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyatt M. Silvey and Beulah V. Silvey (Dever); her husband Harold Carpenter; her siblings-in-law, Horace Carpenter and Mary Carpenter; and her friend Richard Bannon.
She is survived by: her son Ray L. Carpenter (Christine) of Miami, Florida; her sister-in-law Carol Kleyla (Monte) of Elwood; and her nieces, Sara Christman, Joan Songco and Judy Johnson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Missionary Baptist Church.
