He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd R. "Red" and Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Yates (Horner); his nephew Greg Arbuckle; his parents-in-law, McAdoo "Mike" and Maxine Clouser; and his sisters-in-law, Merrilee Rice and Patricia Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Clouser of Elwood; his son Jeremy Yates (Amy) of Union, Kentucky; his sister Doneta Connor of Elwood; his grandchildren, Tristan Yates, Collin Yates and Ava Yates; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Rode (Jerry), Tom Clouser (Susan) and Tim Clouser (Lou Ann).
Memorial contributions are suggested to Franklin Graham's Convoy of Hope through the funeral home.
