We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2022, at the age of 93, Samuel Lloyd Davis of Elwood, Indiana, born in Albany, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter H. Davis and Lena Belle Davis (Shelton); his wife Mary Davis; and his siblings, Edgar Davis, Burley Davis, Arthur Davis, Rether Davis, Wolford "Buck" Davis, Earl Davis, Algar Davis, Lee Davis, Alta Carter, Hettie Mae Davis, Alene Burris and Eva Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Whitenack (Paul "Skip") of Byrdstown, TN, Shelly Scott (Steve) of Elwood and Sharon Church (Kevin) of Elwood; his grandchildren, Craig Scott (Beth), Lesly Whitenack (Brittany), Casey Headley (Chase), Angela Church (Josiah South), Kyle Church (Samantha) and Benjamin Church; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Grayden, Colt, Cale, Cade, Shelby, Gwyneth, Hayden, Kenneth, Benjamin, Micah, Kassea, Kayden, Elizabeth and Evelyn; and his great great grandchild Luna.
Memorial contributions may be made to the End of the Month Meal Ministry at St. John's Lutheran Church.
