Charlie Hausz wrote a sympathy message

“Ruth was such a very special lady to our family for many years, and we have many fond memories of her. Ruth was always so kind and caring and had an excellent sense of humor. My mother was in Purdue Wive's Club with her in Akron, Ohio. Ruth often invited us to Firestone picnics. Dick recruited my husband, Charlie, from Purdue, who then came to Akron to work. Dick was Charlie's boss in tractor tires for quite some time, and was an excellent boss. So glad to have known Ruth! C & L Hausz”
