He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Israel and Vada Israel (Powell); his brothers, Bill Israel and Tom Israel; his daughter-in-law Carrie Israel; and his grandchildren, Timothy Israel and Stephanie Israel.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Israel of Elwood, IN; his children, Kevin Israel (Susan) of Fishers, IN, Keith Israel of Alexandria, IN and Amy Smith (Wayne) of Anderson, IN; his grandchildren, Cassie, Kevin, Elizabeth (Dmitrey), Michelle (Chris) and Kristopher (Kimi); and his great grandchildren, Makenzi, Peter, Anthony, Gregory and Lena.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.
