She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Coleman and Bertha Coleman (McGuire); and her siblings, Bessie Atkins, Beulah M. Robinson, Sylvia Prader, Della Coleman, Cary Henderson, Mary Byers, Ida Coleman, Danny E. Thacker, Kenneth Thacker, Paul Thacker and Donald Thacker.
She is survived by: her husband John Byers; her children, Stacey Curtis (Steve) of Elkhart and Tim Meade (Kay) of Elkhart; her grandchildren, Mikey Meade, Scott Curtis and Stefanie Curtis; and her brother Jimmy Thacker. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
