He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Vanselow and Edith Vanselow; his sister Jean Whitman; his niece Cheryl Kimball; and his cousin Wayne Kross.

He is survived by: his siblings, Howard L. Vanselow and Grace Nowicki (late Norman Vandeursen); and also, Shirley and Dawn Benchelt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
