It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodolfo Avila of East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Bernabe Avila; his children, Maria Rodriguez (Margarito), Jose "Fredy" Avila (Roberta), Rodolfo "Rudy" Avila, Saul Avila (Gina) and Gustavo Adolfo Avila; his grandchildren, Antonio Salgado, Ruby Avila, Hector Manuel Avila, Maritza Annette Avila, Andrez Avila, Nicholas Avila, Gabriela Avila, Alaina Avila, Xavier Avila, Ella Avila and Drew Avila; and his great grandchildren, Leland Salgado, Korra Salgado, Elijah Rodriguez and Kalani Aguilar. He is also survived by brothers and sisters in Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.
