He is survived by: his children, Felicia Escalante (Carlos), Jasmine Ivette Escalante (Mike), Ricardo Escalante, Jr., Eliashib Escalante (Jada) and Jeremiah Escalante; his grandchildren, Yvonne, Matthew, Julie, Jasmine, Carlos, Jozzalyn, Josiah and Alexandre; and his brothers, Sergio Escalante (Gloria), Eddie Escalante (Cindy), Ruben Escalante (Heather) and Joel Escalante (Felicia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
