He was predeceased by: his father Louis, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lillian E. Vasquez; his children, Louis Vasquez III, Danielle Rodriguez (Carlos), Steven Vasquez, Mario Orueta, Carlos Gonzalez, Michael Henney and Jalen Aaron; his grandchildren, Amaya, Lupito, Nyeli Vasquez, Carlos, Olivia, Rubi Rodriguez and Liliahna Gonzalez; and his siblings, Cynthia Castro, Sylvia Velez (Jacinto) and Michael Vasquez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
