He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Montantes and Nicomedes Montantes; and his siblings, Jesse and Irma. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Montantes; his daughters, Jennie Bazile, Jackie Montantes and Julie Montantes; and his grandchildren, Marcus, Jr., Jazmin, Ayana, Jayson, Dejuan, Christian, Tahira and Taheen. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
