He is survived by: his brother Juan; his sister-in-law Erlinda; his wife Natalia; his children, Jose Sanchez (Kathy) of Long Beach, CA, Ruben Sanchez (Anna) of Hammond, IN, Esther Placzek (Clifford) of Corona, CA, Jaime (Rosalinda) of East Chicago, IN and Roberto (Krishna) of Munster, IN.; and his grandchildren, Leah, Amaury, Alina, Sebastian, Adam, Eric, Matthew, Rick, Jeremiah, Rosalinda, Madeline, Marixa, Jessica, Jeremy, Sofia and Amelia. He is also survived by many other great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
