She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Battle and Fletcher Battle Sr.; her grandmother Sophie Battle; her daughters, Carrie Williams (Tom) and Linda Kay Spellers; and her uncles, Samuel Battle and Joseph Battle.
She is survived by: her husband William Spellers; her son James Spellers; her grandchildren, Lorin and Brittany Williams; her brother Fletcher Battle Jr. (Wyona) of Port Allen, Louisiana; her nephew Anthony Battle (Carla) of Tallahassee, Florida; her cousins, Hattie Spellers and Aileen Gray; and her extended family Betty Doty.
