It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elva Sahagun of East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Armandina Sahagun, Adriana Martinez (Homero) and Noel J. Sahagun (Mary); her grandchildren, Rhiannon Aldana, Adam Valdez, David, Vanessa Matthews, Mara, Kyara, Nicole and Philip Sahagun; her children, Ithiel, Yared, Merari, Aazarel Salinas and Homer Martinez III; her sisters, Catalina Falcone, Emma Medrano and Yolanda Garza; her husband Joaquin Sahagun; her son Eduardo; her grandson Rene Aldana; and her father Terry Steffens. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
