It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elias Leon (East Chicago, Indiana), who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jesus and Refugia Leon; his uncle Juan Leon, Sr.; and his cousins, Juan Leon, Jr. and Claudia Leon.
He is survived by: his mother Maria Castallanos; his son Elias Leon, Jr.; his siblings, Virginia Leon, David Gamez and Emilio Gamez; his cousins, Julio Leon, Jesus and Andres; his aunt Luisa Leon; and his nieces and nephews, Jesslyn, Leilani, Mi'Reyna, Henry, Ethan, John and James. He is also survived by numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 and from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday morning. (Due to COVID-19 there will be a limit of 25 people at a time allowed in the Funeral Home.) Elias was a hard worker.
