It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Kowalski of East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on June 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Rosemary Kowalski (Kulasak); his son Eddie Kowalski; his wife Winifred Kowalski (Mathson); his stepdaughter Kathy Bolger; and his parents, John Kowalski and Josephine Kowalski (Wadas).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Piniak (Brad) and Rebecca Semrau (Marty); his daughter-in-law Marcell Kowalski; his grandchildren, Greg Piniak (Wendy), Amy Fulk (Matt), Eddie Kowalski (Kelli), Tim Piniak, Jeremy Piniak (Lila), Marty Semrau (J. T.), Justin Kowalski (Rachel) and Betsy Miller (Eric); his stepchildren, Nancy Brooker (late Rick), Linda Cram (Marc) and Richard Mathson; and his stepgrandchildren, Brian Cram (Jennifer), David Cram (Lisa), Michelle Weis (Mike), Craig Brooker (Angie) and Ian Bolger. He is also survived by eight step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Calumet area.
