It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta R. Gonzales of East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margarita Venegas and Antonio Venegas Sr.; her siblings, Maria Teresa Martinez, Cleoltilde "Kota" Argondona, Francisco and Gilberto Villarruel; and her granddaughter Jacqueline Lee.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mona Flores, Gina Lee (Mike) and Jennifer Rupcich (Peter); her grandchildren, Julian Hernandez, Rachel, Jessica Lee and Ethan Rupcich; her great grandchild Addison; and her brothers, Ricardo Villarruel and Antonio Venegas Jr..
