It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Hucker of Dyer, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hucker and Anna Hucker (Garber); and his brother Wilbur Hucker Jr. (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Harriet A. Hucker; his siblings, Charles Hucker and Mary Myers; and his children, Sharon Lee Quaife, Terri Lynn Hucker, Richard James Hucker Jr. (Dympna Coll), David Eugene Hucker (Marisabel Villanueva Hucker) and Candace Ann DeBartolo (Frank P. DeBartolo). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
