He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Zygmunt and Clara Zygmunt; his uncles, Frank Zawora (Anne), Michael Zawora, John Zawora and Stanley Zawora (Alice); and his parents-in-law, Earl J. and Edith Gratto.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Zygmunt; his daughter Jennifer Zygmunt; his siblings, Robert Zygmunt (Marilyn), MaryAnn Quirin (Jim) and Christina Frett (John); and his uncle Edward Zawora (late Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
