She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dorothy Terpstra, Bill Ruiter, Idelle Gabrielse, Art Ruiter and Dr. Michael Ruiter; and her parents, Thomas Ruiter and Mentie Ruiter.

She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Fennema; her daughters, Janet Stalman (Jim), Judy DeBoer (Jeff) and Jill Dyke (Pete); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Bultema (Rich), Joel DeBoer (Diana), Joshua DeBoer (Ashley), Michael Stalman, Sherri Harker (Beau), Melissa Stalman, Sarah Stalman, Jonathan Dyke (Brooke) and Stephanie Cummings (Alan).
