He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie Arent (Mika); his son Stephen Arent (Kimberly) of Lowell; his parents, Joseph Arent and Mary Arent; and his sisters, Helen Tamborski (Stanley), Irene Ferczok (Steve) and Evelyn Mazurkiewicz (Joseph).
He is survived by: his children, Annette Arent of Griffith, Laura Arent (Leo) of Crown Point, Joseph, Elizabeth Arent of Dyer and Therese Arent (Phil) of Highland; and his grandchild Joszabe Arent of Valparaiso.
