He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Schripsema (Herman) and Pat Dykstra (late Daniel); his grandchildren, Jeff Schripsema, Kris Boes, David Dykstra and Melissa McNary; and his siblings, Jacob, Walter, Peter, Harry, Nelson, Elizabeth and Hilda.
