She was predeceased by: her son Diego Azzara; her parents, Domenico Femminella and Calogera Femminella; and her siblings, Antonino, Baldasare, Giuseppe, Agostino, Damiana, Maria and Antonietta Femminella.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stefanie Porcaro (Antonio) and Lisa Kosina (Joseph A.); her grandchildren, Anna Akan (Andy), Anthony Porcaro (Natalie), Lauren Kosina, Jacqueline Kosina and John Kosina; and her great grandchildren, Adam, Michael, Christopher Akan, Gabriella and Gianna Porcaro. She is also survived by Her family soon grew to include five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
