He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben "Buck" Davidson and Lillian Davidson (Boggie); his wife Dixie Gaye; his son David Davidson; and his siblings, Roger Ross Davidson "Cobb", Betty Lou Nickins and Anita Lee LaFountain.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janie Taggart (Earl) of North Vernon, Christie Dunn of Trafalgar and Donna Melloh (Andy) of Bargersville; his stepson Brandon Smith of Deputy; his grandchildren, Wesley William Ryan Webb (Tim) of Columbus, Benjamin Etter (Jacelyn) of Brown County, Nathaniel David Webb (Beka) of Alert, Weston Lynn Wray (Stefani) of Trafalgar and Haley Brianne Fortney (Cody) of Lexington, IN; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Etter of Columbus, Lulu Belle, Johnathon Webb of Alert, Lux, Sky, Sloan, Palmer Wray of Trafalgar and Clayton Fortney of Lexington.
