He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Boain Covington and Ruby Lois Gordon Covington; and his brother Robert Waller Covington. He is survived by: his spouse Karen Jester; his children, Larry Dale Covington, Jr. of Madison, Robert Dale Covington of Madison, Indiana and Angie Covington Hibbard of Madison, Indiana; his siblings, William Cecil Covington of Georgetown, Kentucky, Pauline Kindoll of Bedford and Nancy Lawson (Robert A. Webster) of Hanover, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Corey Covington, Brooklynn Hibbard, Braden Hibbard and Willoe Boldery. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
