He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Richard Armstrong and Hazel Armstrong (Porter); his spouse Margurett L. Armstrong (Daily); his daughters, Marilyn, Carolyn and Tammy Armstrong; his son-in-law Loren Robinson; and his sister-in-law Judy Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Armstrong (Faye) of Deputy, Indiana and Sherry Robinson of Scottsburg, Indiana; his siblings, James Ralph Armstrong of Gas City, Leon Armstrong (Nina) of Henryville, Freddie Armstrong (Mary) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Elaine Carlisle (Gary) of New Washington, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Christopher Armstrong (Tiffany), Amy Collins (Travis), Kimberly Hardy (Steven) and Ashley Armstrong (Andrew Campbell); and his great grandchildren, Jasper, Hayden, Sylvia Armstrong and Laurel Hardy.
