She is survived by: her husband George Knappen; her children, Holly Cattin (John) of Mexico, William Knappen (Cathy) of Wasilla, Edward Knappen (Tracy) of Macy and Mindy Hullinger (Jon) of Arizona; and her brother Melvin Clingaman of Roann. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
