She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Kessler; her parents, Joseph Remais and Sarah Apter; and her brother Sherman Remais. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Diana Owens (Jesse), Lauren Erro (Steve), Alan Kessler, Jake Kessler (Rachel), Betsy Kessler (Jordann Hoelzel), Hannah Kessler (Adam Lombardi) and Sarah Masa-Myers (Zachary); her great grandchild Gwenn; her sons, Phillip Kessler (Kathleen Allenbach), Stephen Kessler (Donna Anderson) and Kenneth Kessler (Denise); her grandchildren, Jacob Kessler, Elizabeth Kessler and Allen Allenbach; her great grandchildren, Ruby Kessler, Hazel Kessler, Noa Kessler-Hoelzel, Atticus Kessler-Hoelzel, Cal Kessler-Hoelzel, Gwynn Owens and Maverick Owens; and her sister Estelle Lilienthal.
